June 2008

I have a new obsession. Since college, I haven’t watched a lot of T.V. but Raj has hooked me on Scrubs. Thankfully, we have the show on DVD so I can get my fix anytime. Like right now. Zach Braff is hilarious. I’m so glad I married a man who has such great taste in shows. He’s the one who introduced me to the Office, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and the one and only West Wing. I’m off to watch another episode. If you haven’t caught on to Scrubs (or any of the other shows mentioned) I highly suggest you check them out.

What’s your favorite show?

Have you ever had a conversation that brings clarity into your life? Not the kind of conversations where you aren’t really sure what to think so you just tag on whatever Conversation Partner’s opinion is as your own, but the kind of conversation where said Conversation Partner just asks you questions and doesn’t let you get away with the emphatic “I don’t know. What do you think?”. That’s what I’m talking..err..writing about. Well, one of those conversations happened last night with my wonderful and sexy husband, Raj, and through it, I’ve decided that blogging is good for my soul. May seem trivial, but believe me, only bad things can come from neglecting the abundant, random (and perhaps, at times, neurotic) thoughts that creep so quickly into my head. I have desperately needed some kind of organized, creative outlet, so my fantastic hubby helped me create a new look for my blog, as well as a new blog title and tag line. He’s the best. Anyway, I like my blog. I feel like it’s mine now. Things I love have been incorporated in to my blog. The picture, for instance, is of a coffeeshop in Calcutta, India. I love coffee and I love India. Brewing Faith, the title, is worth another post, but it rings true as to where I am right now in my life and my relationship with God. All this to say, I think I’m in a good place right now and I’m excited to jump on the blogging bandwagon for real this time.

And to catch you up from the last 6 months or so…

I visited Chap in Wheaton and had the best time ever!

Had a wonderful shower and bachelorette party with some amazing friends.

Married Rajesh Andrew Lulla and, in turn, became Mrs. Lindsey Jean Lulla! Namaste!

Honeymooned in Santa Cruz and stayed at the cutest bed and breakfast.

Moved back to Riverside and cursed the 107 heat.

Went to Ruth and James’ wedding!

Babysat some of the coolest kids, Emma, Sam, and Thomas.

And soon enough will be flying into Houston to meet up with the sis-in-law, Amber and munchkins, and driving to Omaha to visit and hang out! More on that to come. 🙂
