It’s looking like Mr. Obama has won the Democrats over in Iowa. This is almost as surprising as me blogging in two days. Not really. The race was tight, though, and I had to blog about this historical caucus. I was watching CNN yesterday, and the correspondent in Iowa said that Clinton was focusing on getting the older population to vote, Edwards wasn’t focusing too much on encouraging people to vote but believed those that regularly come out and vote will vote for him, and Obama was encouraging younger people to come out and vote. For whatever reason, I’m happy that Obama won. It isn’t that I particularly like Obama, I’m just happy that young people went out and voted. As much as it may be Obama’s win, it’s the younger generation’s voice that won. Very cool.
